A family run company based in Middlesbrough. Founded in the 1920’s as a haulage firm delivering coal. The company had their wagon’s commandeered during World War 2 for the war effort.
It has since grown into a specialist demolition company working throughout the UK.
Founded by Arthur Love or Artie Buckler as he became known. His son Ronnie took over the reins in the 1960’s and expanded from haulage into demolition. It currently has its third generation of the Love family at the helm.
Under the current leadership, the company has continued to grow. With accreditation to The National Federation of Demolition Contractors (NFDC) in 1987.
They have held an Asbestos Licence for over 30 years and are also accredited members of The Asbestos Removal Contractors Association (ARCA).
Also holding membership to The Institute of Demolition Engineers, NEBOSH and WAMITAB Accreditation.
Policies have been implemented to attaining
ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditation.
The company is CHAS (Health and Safety) certified providing us with a fully integrated management system.
In 1990 the company opened a 7 acre recycling yard in Middlesbrough, licensed by the Environment Agency where all demolition rubble is processed, and recycled aggregates are produced to WRAP Protocol standard.
The fourth generation of the family are now heavily involved in the running of the company.
