ABOUT 

A. Buckler Haulage Ltd is a family run demolition company based in Middlesbrough in the North East of England.

​

Founded in the 1920s by Arthur Love, or Artie Buckler as he became known, it began life as a haulage firm delivering coal.  During World War 2 the company had their wagon’s commandeered for the war effort. In the 1960s, Arthur’s son Ronnie took over the reins and expanded the firm from haulage into demolition.

​

It has since grown into a specialist demolition company working throughout the UK and has been accredited with the National Federation of Demolition Contractors (NFDC) since 1987.

 

Mark Love, and his sons - the fourth generation of the Love family are currently at the helm.

​

A. Buckler has held an asbestos licence for over 30 years and is also an accredited member of The Asbestos Removal Contractors Association (ARCA).

 

The company, also holds accreditations with The Institute of Demolition Engineers, NEBOSH and WAMITAB.

​

The company is CHAS (Health and Safety) certified providing us with a fully integrated management system, and has attained ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditation.

​

In 1990 the company opened a seven-acre recycling yard in Middlesbrough, licensed by the Environment Agency.  Here, all demolition rubble is processed, and recycled aggregates are produced to WRAP Protocol standard.
