When waste is produced on our demolition site our priority and hierarchy is as follows:

2. Reuse

3. Recycle

4. Recovery

5. Disposal          

   

Disposal is the last option and is only be used when other waste routes have been explored and are not available. Prior to commencement of any project, the Company assess all recyclable arisings. An inventory of all arisings will be produced and given to site management. Each classification of recyclable arisings will be noted; then site management will be advised of its destination.

All arisings where possible are separated on site at source, thus enabling efficient sorting. All arisings are placed in individual skips or containers, thus cross contamination is eliminated. Each storage location is clearly labelled.
